When importing a menu, you may receive an error that needs to be fixed in the spreadsheet before it can be successfully imported into the BOHA! portal

Please export the menu before importing again, check menu page, rows X, they are available in the menu but not available in the spreadsheet

What it means: The item(s) in the specified row(s) are already available in the products list of the Menu Manager with the same name in that category

How to fix:

  1. If you do not want to share this menu item between menus, change the Button Label of the item so it is unique.
  2. If you do not want to share this menu item between menus, create a different category for this item to reside. This allows you to keep the Button Label the same and allows you to differentiate between the new item and the existing item.
  3. If you want to share this menu item between menus, delete the entire row from the spreadsheet and then import your menu. Then, in the Menu Manager, select the blue dot and then Manage Menu Items. From there, select the category and find the existing menu item. Check the box to enable the menu item on your menu and save your changes.

What it means: There is already a category in the same location with the same name.

How to fix:

  1. Delete the row of the new category and use the category ID of the existing category
  2. Slightly change the name of the new category. You can always edit the name of the category after importing the menu back into the portal

“Column: X needs to integer greater than or equal to 0.”

Other/Not specified above

How to fix:

  1. Check that that cells containing Button Labels, Modifier Labels, Captions, or custom fields exceed 100 characters
  2. Check that all items have been added to the table on the spreadsheet. They have been successfully added if the rows alternate between blue and white
  3. Check that the table has not been moved down in the spreadsheet. If a row was added above the headers, delete the blank row
  4. Make sure that no manual changes have been made in the portal (Menu Manager, Label Designer, Settings) since the menu was exported and that no new label templates, styles or categories have been created. If one of these has happened, you will need to export the menu again to reflect these additions then you may proceed with your menu edits
