Menu Tab

  1. Category ID: The ID number of the category where you would like your product or ingredient to reside. This can be found in the “Category” tab of the spreadsheet
  2. Is Add-on: If the item you are adding is going to be used as an add on for other items enter a “Y” in this column. If not, leave the cell blank
  3. Button ID: A unique number to tell the portal you are adding a new item
  4. Add-on IDs: If you are entering an add on, this is where you specify what products the item should be an add on for. In this cell, enter the Button ID of the product(s) that this item should show up as an add on for. Each button ID should be separated by a comma
  5. Button Label: The name of the menu item displayed on the terminal
  6. Button Label Secondary: If using a secondary language, the name of the recipe that appears when the secondary language is selected
  7. Modifier Label: The name of the recipe, this can be the same as the Button Label
    • This field is only required for Products, not Ingredients
  8. Modifier Label Secondary: If using a secondary language, the name of the recipe which can be the same as the Button Label
  9. Caption: What will print in the “Caption” field of the label. This can be different from the menu item name if desired
  10. Secondary Caption: If using a secondary language, the name that prints on the label when the secondary language Caption is selected on the label template
  11. Add on Display Name: If the item is an Add on specify the name that should be displayed on the terminal when printing as an add on for another product
  12. Add on Display Name Secondary: If using a secondary language, the display name for the add on when the secondary language is selected
  13. Label ID: The ID number of the label template you would like your menu item to print. This can be found in the “Label” tab of the spreadsheet
  14. Style ID: If you have created styles you can assign them to a menu item by entering the Style ID found in the “Style” tab
  15. Shelf Life: The numeric data for your shelf life
  16. Shelf life UoM: The unit of measure for your shelf life. Enter “m” for minutes, “h” for hours, “d” for days, or “month” for months.
    • These letters must be lowercase
  17. Various shelf life columns: These additional shelf life columns are available for items that have more than one shelf life (for example, pull, thaw, discard)
  18. Is Ingredient: If the item you are adding is an ingredient (prep item) enter a “Y” in this column. If not, leave it blank
  19. Price: The price of the menu item
  20. Barcode: The barcode data for your item
    • UPC-A barcodes must have 11 digits entered to print
  21. Net Weight through Allergens: The nutrition facts for your menu item
    • All nutrition facts cells must only contain numbers; do not enter a unit of measure

Style Tab

  1. Style ID: This is the ID of a unique style. Use this ID to apply the style to a menu item or category
  2. Name: The name of the style
  3. BG Color: The color code of the background
  4. Text Color: The color code of the text
  5. Font: The font of the style

Category Tab

  1. Category ID: This is the ID of a unique category. Use this ID in the Menu tab to designate the category where a menu item will reside
  2. Parent Category ID: If the category is a sub-category, the Category ID of the parent category will be displayed here
  3. Name: The name of the category
  4. Name Secondary: If using a secondary language, the name that will be displayed when the secondary language is selected
  5. Display Order: You can order your categories here or enter “1” for the display order
  6. Style ID: If you would like to apply a style to the category, enter the Style ID from the “Style” tab

Label Tab

  1. Label ID: This is the ID of a unique label template. Use this ID in the Menu tab to designate what label a menu item should print
  2. Name: The name of the label template
  3. Description: A description of the label template
