The Label Designer offers many possibilities when creating a label template. Below are the definitions of each element found in the Label Designer sidebar.
General
- Text: A static text box. If you want all labels to display the same text in the same place, use this field
- Line: A static line that you may adjust the length and width
- Date: The date and time that the label is printed. Different formats are available
- Barcode: You may select the barcode type and size it according to your label template
- Image: BOHA! supports the addition of an image on the label template. Please note the BOHA! Terminal uses thermal printers so the image will only print in black and white.
- Composite Field: a field that will allow you to compile multiple fields within one set area on the label template
Location
- Number: The number entered in the Locations Manager for the store
- Name: The name entered in the Locations Manager for the store
- Address Line 1: Line 1 of the address entered in the Locations Manager for the store
- Address Line 2: Line 2 of the address entered in the Locations Manager for the store
- City: The city entered in the Locations Manager for the store
- State/Region: The state entered in the Locations Manager for the store
- Zip/Postal Code: The zip code entered in the Locations Manager for the store
- Phone: The phone number entered in the Locations Manager for the store
Menu Item
- Caption: The name of the menu item to print on the label specified in the Menu Manager
- Price: The price of a menu item entered in the Menu Manager
- Expiration Date: A calculated time and date that is the print time and date plus the shelf life of the menu item
- Nutrition Facts: A nutrition facts panel with four formats to choose from
- Ingredients: The ingredients of a menu item entered in the Menu Manager
- Allergens: The allergens of a menu item entered in the Menu Manager
- Net Weight: The net weight of a menu item entered in the Menu Manager
- Discard Date: This field is to be used on templates for menu items with a kill date. It allows for a user prompt to add the kill date
- Ref. Discard Date: A calculated time and date that is the kill date plus the shelf life of the menu item
- Category: The name of the category where the item resides
- Sec. Category: If using a secondary language, the secondary name of the category where the items resdides
- Add Ons: A composite field that allows you to add information regarding an add on. Adding this field will automatically disable add ons from printing on separate labels. If you would like all labels to print separately, remove this field
Employee
- Employee Name: The name of the employee logged into the terminal at the time of print
- EmployeeID: The ID number of the employee logged into the terminal at the time of print
