1. Ensure you have the proper batteries for your equipment type. We recommend lithium batters in freezer settings and alkaline for refrigeration and dry storage.
2. Screw the battery cover onto the sensor body without over-tightening.
3. Have the necessary fixings on hand to secure the device. Non-Permanent options include zip ties or double-sided foam or Velcro strips. Note: Grease and heat from the kitchen environment can deteriorate adhesive over time and require replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mounting the Devices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. To get the most accurate readings, place your sensor in a central location in the cooler or freezer.
a. For Reach-In units, near the center shelves.
b. For Low Boy units, near the back and top.
2. Make sure the sensor isn\u2019t covered or flush against a wall so air can flow through the air channel (where the white tape is).
3. Sensors that lie flat on their side are prone to accumulate moisture which could impact the temperature readings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Care and Maintenance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Sensors are water resistant, but not waterproof.
