The lists below may offer some easy solutions to the problems. If a problem is still unresolved, then it may be necessary to contact the dealer for assistance.<br><br><strong>PRINTER HAS NO RESPONSE (NO LIGHTS, NO NOISE)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Make sure that the printer ac power cord is plugged in securely on both ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Check to see if the ac receptacle has power by plugging in another ac powered device such as a lamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Use the printer power switch located on the front of the printer and turn it OFF and then ON again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ERROR LIGHT ON STEADY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Check paper roll for proper installation. Paper may be out or Lid may not be closed with paper loaded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Use the printer power switch located on the front of the printer and turn it OFF and then ON again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NO COMMUNICATION TO MAIN PRINTER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Check all cable connections for tightness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Check printer configuration for proper settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Substitute a working printer to verify that the wiring and the main computer is functioning properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PRINTS LIGHT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Try cleaning the print head as dirt can cause the printer to be light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Check that the printer lid is latching completely closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Unfortunately, if the latches are broken or the print head is failing, the printer will need to be sent in for repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTHING PRINTS ON THE PAPER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Paper advances as if printing, but not print is produced on the paper)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Verify the paper is thermal paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Verify the thermal paper is loaded correctly. Paper should be loaded with the paper coming from the bottom of the roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Try cleaning the print head as dirt can cause the printer to not print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Check that the printer lid is latching completely closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.
