Normally, standard TITO printers require operators to turn off the slot machine, unrack them from the machines and use a laptop to make the updates. Not only is this time consuming, but it also uses extra equipment.
With the Epic Edge, slot techs simply have to insert the Micro SD card into the slot, hit the “reset” button and let the printer do the rest. Firmware uploads are quickly completed on the spot with no need to power down the machine or carry a laptop. This allows operators to save time and maximize efficiency by quickly moving from game to game.
